Chorley Bowmen may be a relatively new club, founded in 1980, but it has quickly become known as a friendly and welcoming club. Both able bodied and those with disabilities are welcome at Chorley Bowmen and help is always on hand from our qualified coaches. Are current members cover all ages and abilities, so you will not feel left out. Although we have a relatively short history Chorley Bowmen and its members have had many achievements and successes over the years, these include;
During the indoor and outdoor seasons we hold regular club competitions based on peoples handicap scores - so everyone has the chance to win. Chorley Bowmen is a member of Lancashire Archery Association and together helps promote both the tradtional and modern Olympic side of the sport.
Although we take our archery seriously, we are also good at enjoying ourselves. At our Christmas dinner we benefited from an hours salsa lesson beforehand.
